Objective:
Creative Art Therapy Workshop is designed to use art as therapy for relaxation
of mind and body in the creative use of arts to connect to creative inner
self and to reflect our strength and inner resources.

Who: Adult, no background in art is required

Workshop
Agenda: The first 15 minutes of the workshop is sharing of the latest
research, concept, theory and practice of art therapy including how art
therapy is useful for adult and children. The main part of the workshop
is for participants to use art as therapy for self-care. The final closing
is for participants to share their works in therapeutic ways and follow
by insights by art therapist.

Workshop
Leader: Paul, T.S., Lee, an artist, art therapist and consultant. Mr.
Lee holds a Master in Arts – Art Therapy (LASALLE), a Bachelor Degree from
Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) and a certificate from Nanyang
Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). He has been teaching arts and creativity to
the young since 1989 and the founder of UniqArts and Technologies in 1995.
Mr. Lee has experience in running creative art therapy for individuals
and group for adult and children. His clinical site experiences including
Changi General Hospital, Geriatric Day Hospital at CGH, Kwong Wai Shiu
Hospital, KK Women's and Children's Hospital, and Association for Persons
with Special Needs. In addition, creative art therapies have benefited
many institutions, counselors, teachers, and social workers including Feiyue,
Touch, Health Promotion Board, Faber Castell, National Library Board, Singapore
Prison, Singapore Police Force, MOE schools, etc. His master thesis research
topic was using art therapy as a modality of healing in stages. His started
an initiative for professional to discuss and research on Positive/Happiness
Art Therapy.
