Our specialised Art therapy program integrated with creative service is available for child development, family bonding, team building, dementia care, healing and treatment for phyiscal and psychological wellness. Art therapy is by trained, qualified and experienced Art Therapist and Consultant.

What is Art Therapy

Art Therapy is a visual form of therapy that is effective for relaxation, rejuvenation and healing because art gives us strength, resilience, resourcefulness, mindfulness, healing and recovery from any illnesses, both physical and psychological. It is because Art enages our mind and body actively to sooth, cleanse and cure us completely.  Art is using visual language without border or limitation of verbal or written form of languages.

What Art Therapy is not..

It is not an Art Therapy for the following: taking art lessons, art and craft activities, attending art workshop, visiting art exhibition, visiting art gallery or art museum, going for art competition, helping someone making art, or doing art therapy without a trained or qualified art therapist. An art therapy will need an active mind making art at the same time.

Why Art Therapy

Art Therapy is one of the oldest and most effective form of self care, personal awareness, wellness, mindfulness,  and healing. It is because art is a significant process that touches inside us. Art Therapy can help us reintegrate, reorganize, rewire and increase our cognitive development. It is also an important means for human development, bonding and quality of life.

For Who

Art Therapy is for individual or group. You do not need to be good in art or  with prior training. Indeed, it does not matter whether you are good or experience in art because it is not about making nice drawing or painting.

Treatment Purpose

Art Therapy is for expressing ourselves creatively and visually. It is good for mental wellness and mindfulness. Art Therapy can be used to treat the following issues and illnesses such as anxiety, fear, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, insomnia, hyper tension, addiction, stress disorder, trauma recovery, cancer survival and recovery, migraine, development delay, attention-deficit deficiency, anger management, bipolar disorder, hallucination, and any other mental disorders.

Expressive Art Therapy

We incorporate Expressive Art Therapy into the process. You can learn how to express yourself through art and different medium. Expressive Art Therapy is an effective channel of creative expression of your feelings.
Art Therapy as Medicine
For treatment of mental illnesses or anyone in need of diagnosis, healing and recovery from illnesses. Art Therapy as medicine main purpose is to help a person to gain awareness, understanding health warning signs or clues, recovery from illnesses or unresolved issues so as to move on with resilience.

Appied Mindfulness Therapy
We practice and engage Mindfulness Therapy through the use of art and creativity to find peace, purpose and wellness. Mindfulness Therapy aims to provide the practice and learning how to be use art as mindfulness source for good health and wellness.


Creativity-Juice program is introduced throughout the Creative Art Therapy to facilitate members creative thinking, creative problem-solving and visual thought process. This is essential for Creative Art Therapy to engage the active part of our creative self to feel fresh and think differently. Creativity-Juice is to use to remove our mental blocks in order to recover and heal from psychological and physical wounds.
Origami Therapy
Origami Therapy is using the craft of paper folding to engage mind and body for mindfulness, wellness and relaxation. It can be used for Mindfulness practice and for participants who are familiar with this folk art.

Positive Psychology
We focus on the use of Positive Psychology during Creative Art Therapy process and treatment. Positive psychology is a scientific way to embrace strength of a person or group and using this strength as the source for wellness and treatment.

Prevention and Treatment of Dementia

Art Therapy can be used to improve our memory, brain health and as Dementia prevention. Indeed, Art Therapy can slow down the disease affecting our brain and possibility reverse them.

Art therapy uses visual as main language of communication. Verbal language is a secondary form of communication during art therapy.

Couple or for Two persons: S$120/= for Couple Therapy

Each session is for one hour live interactive session. Currently, only Virtual Art Therapy session is available.

By default, all Personal or Group Art Therapy sessions are strictly confidential unless otherwise they might be harmful or post a danger to self, group, any person or the public. Written consent will be obtained to release any of the artworks or information to the public. Art therapist will treat all discussion and art works as personal and private for treatment purpose only.

Art Therapy treatment involves several and a wide range of medium to cater for diferent needs and appropriateness. Some of the art materials are Oil Pastels, Watercolour, Coloured pencils, Tempera paint, Poster Paint, Clay, Origami Papers, Collages, etc.

Art Therapy Modality

For Virtual Art Therapy, use of Ipad Tablet, personal computer or laptop with drawing device such as Wacom. The platform for Virtual Art Therapy would be through internet, interactive live art space, audio, and video. Appropriate choice will be used accordingly.

The Art Therapist

It is not an art therapy without an Art Therapist. It is because the skills, knowledge, training and experience of an art therapist is essential to facilitate, support, provide appropriatre treatment, intervention and for long term positive result. Verbal communication is secondary in art therapy session because ART is a visual communication. Indeed, the Art Therapist can provide insights and accurate information about the art that you have created. Art is also an effective form of expression and communication. Clients can choose whether sharing about their artworks to the therapistOutcome of the therapy can be immediate or subtle after session when participants feel better or change for better. Indeed, many participants will experience physical illnesses being healed permanently. For children, outcome can be evidenced by their family members or school teachers. Once treatment is successful, participants will move on to their lives or use art as therapy for long term wellness. Our Art Therapist is a person with master level of art therapy training, deep knowhow of the medium and experience using ART as a modality and treatment.

Art Therapist Credential

Art Therapy program and treatment are facilitated by Mastered level Art Therapist - Mr. Lee Thiam Seng (Paul). Mr. Lee is an artist, art therapist and consultant. He is the founder of UniqArts and Technologies in 1995. Mr. Lee holds a Masters of Art in Art Therapy from LaSalle College of the Arts and a Bachelor Degree in Management from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia.  He has been practicing Art Therapy since 2009. His experience including individual and group art therapy treatment for pupils at Association for Persons with Special Needs (APSN), women with breast cancer at KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH), psychotic patients at Changi General Hospital (CGH) Psychiatric Ward, older adults (geriatric) at Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital's (KWSH) Day Rehabilitative Center and Geriatric Day Hospital (GDH) at CGH. Mr. Lee conducted a research at KKH with Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval for his Art Therapy masters thesis: "Art Therapy as a Modality of Healing in Stages - For Women with Breast Cancer."
